Professionals who use AI more frequently are significantly more likely to report that AI supports their day-to-day efficiency. AI can accelerate analysis, structuring, documentation, and estimation workflows — especially when used routinely.

Higher AI usage is associated with a stronger perception of training, guidance, and practical orientation. This indicates that adoption does not scale through tool access alone. It requires clear use cases, practical guidelines, and structured enablement.

Cost Engineers who frequently use AI are more likely to recognize the ongoing evolution of their role.
